Sweetpea Flowers by Design is a retail florist set up with the aim of providing local people with a complete contemporary floristry service.

Our style of floristry is contemporary, seasonal and natural incorporating lots of texture, using a wide variety of flowers and foliage. We have deliveries of fresh stock every day assuring a wide choice and longer vase life in your home.
To provide a more sustainable product, we use kraft paper for wrapping rather than cellophane and we use raffia and fabric ribbon binding instead of the plastic variety.
Our belief is that as flowers have a role in so many times of life and are gifted with sentiment, therefore they should be individual, long lasting, beautifully presented, and memorable.

Sweetpea Florist was established in 2018 and is part of a vibrant community of independent retailers in Newark on Trent.
Having accumulated over 10 years’ experience in retail floristry, after completion of my qualification, I was delighted to turn daydreams into reality and open my own high street florist shop.
Since then, Sweetpea has built a reputation for beautiful, high quality and contemporary flowers combined with excellent customer service.
Sweetpea is a business but, for me it is personal. What I do each day and the service we provide matters to me.
Like most small business owners, I put my heart and soul into what I do and am passionate about floral design and the service we provide. I am extremely proud to be an independent retailer in Newark and to have a part to play in such a beautiful town, which is steeped in history.
